Environmental Health Legislative Working GroupFormed in the Fall of 2002, EHLWG is a broad coalition of more than 80 public health, environmental, environmental justice and community groups that have been working together to take action on critical environmental health issues over the last few years in California.
This year, there will be 3 regional EHLWG Training Institutes for leaders within groups that work on environmental health issues. These training institutes are designed to advance engagement of community groups in statewide environmental health policy.
Applicants: Leaders of San Francisco and Monterey Bay Area environmental health community groups are encouraged to apply. Ideal applicants should be committed to developing their organization's understanding of the environmental policy making process at the state and local level.

Staff time at the training as well as travel to and from the trainings can be compensated based on need. Please specify on your application form the amount of compensation you are seeking.
